ADVENTURES
Our far-flung Himalayan realm of the Thunder Dragon is a land of mountains, monasteries, yaks and yetis that has been blessed with some of the best mountain biking on earth.
From our base in Paro, rider/owner Ugyen Dorji and his friendly crew of biking guides, mechanics and trail builders have created countless life enhancing biking adventures throughout Bhutan and love to share them with visitors and locals alike.
Drawing on decades of worldwide guiding and biking experience, coupled with a deep affinity for our backyard’s
breathtaking terrain, ancient pathways and rich Buddhist culture, our team offer the biker unparalleled access to the most sought after backcountry and the otherworldly and enriching essence of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

HELI BIKING
The "ultimate uplift" - explore Bhutan’s pristine back country on an epic airborne adventure. Know that your charter has contributed to the cost of emergency aircover for the kingdom.
Kila Gung Kharpo is a favourite drop off - ride the ridge then drop into 1,700 metres “vert” of sinuous single-track trails all the way back to Paro – you’ll be grinning for days!
TIPI CAMP & RAFTING
Our fully-serviced, nordic tipi outposts make ideal base camps for deeper explorations of some wilder corners of our Himalayan home.
Our secret hideout in Punakha is "bike-in-raft-out" and comes complete with well-appointed tipi tents, solar chargers, hammocks, slacklines, BBQ plus a stash of marshmallows & local ales.
ARCHERY
Archery is Bhutan’s national sport and in times gone by, the Bhutanese archers often repelled Tibetan invaders with their bamboo longbows.
All our trips offer daily archery demo and practice sessions culminating in a tournament where traditional Bhutanese dress is optional but there is plenty of eating, drinking, & merriment.
